The Sea Ray 270 Amberjack is a sport cruiser that’s been designed for the whole family. It’s a comfortable cruiser that can come with a full fishing package for dad and it’s also a really great water skiing and wakeboarding craft.

The 270 Amberjack has some of the best features on the market including a cockpit with an ergonomic dash. The large cockpit gives you enough room for fishing, diving, or cruising and it has a rod storage area. That means the boat driver can break out his rod quickly if the fish finder spots a fish. Standard electronics features in the cockpit include a 12 volt AM/FM Sony Stereo with a CD player. Optional Raymarine electronics provide combine fish finders and chart plotters.

The cockpit control station makes driving the boat easy especially with power assisted steering and Smart Craft digital throttle and shift. Smart Card Diagnostics makes it easier to monitor the boat’s operation.

One of the best features of the cockpit is direct access to the cabin via a lockable door. The cabin itself features carpeting, lighting, outlets and a stereo.

Down below there’s a full galley with a microwave, a stove and a refrigerator. The galley also contains an outlet so you can plug in addition kitchen gadgets such as a toaster or a can opener. A great option for the kitchen is that two kinds of stove, an alcohol/electric or single burner butane stove are available. The alcohol electric stove can run on either 12 volt or 110 kilowatt power systems. This means it can operate from either the boat’s power system or the marina’s power system.

The spacious head contains a mirror and a vanity so mom can freshen up in privacy. For those who want to wash off the salt water there’s an optional shower. A great thing about the Amberjack’s shower is that it has hot as well as cold water available.

The powerful MerCruiser MX6.2 MPI Bravo III DTS Sterndrive engine is the standard propulsion system for the 270 Amberjack. Several similar engines are also available for the Amberjack.

Lots of great options are available for the Amberjack including two tone or full colored hulls. Two tone hulls come in blue, black or pewter. Full color hulls come in the same colors.

Simulated teak flooring gives a classy look to the cabin. There are also some other interesting features including light on the swim deck.
