The 245 is the smallest entry in Bayliner’s popular line of cruisers and the cheapest.

The 25 foot long 245 is designed to pack a lot of features and boaters into the cabin and cockpit. One of the best features in the cabin is an aft double berth bunk. The large portholes provide a lot of light and they come with curtains in a nice homey touch. A dinette table enables boaters to eat indoors when it’s rainy or messy outside.

The large comfortable cockpit features some really nice touches including two waterproof speakers, a transom speaker and an entertainment center with a sink and faucet for washing up. A sliding door provides easy access to the cabin and galley. There’s also a removable table so that you can eat or cut bait right in the cockpit. An L shaped lounger sits aft and allows passengers to lounge around while the boat speeds along.

A full galley with a dual voltage refrigerator, a single burner electric stove, a microwave and a stainless steel sink with a faucet makes cooking and cleaning up a lot easier. The electric stove is a nice touch that enhances safety because the electric eye is safer than butane stoves.

The head is also built for comfort it features a sink with a faucet, a vanity and a built in shower. This means the Cruiser 245 has two showers, which is a luxurious touch for a boat at this price.

One of the best factory installed options with the Bayliner 245 Cruiser is the 3 kilowatt generator. This can be added to the standard package for just $9,300. Another cool option is the combination TV and DVD player for the cabin which costs an extra $1,057. This TV set has a 15 inch LCD flat screen.

Despite the feature the Bayliner Cruiser 245 doesn’t scrimp on power a 5 liter Mercury MPI Mercruiser Bravo III with 260 horsepower comes standard with the cruiser. Some other engine options are offered including a 5.7 liter Mercury Mercruiser Bravo III with 250 horsepower for just $321 extra, a 5 liter MPI Mercruiser Bravo III with 260 horsepower and freshwater cooling for $1,4443 extra, a Mercury 350 MAG MPI Mercruiser Bravo III with 300 horsepower for an extra $3,000, and a Mercury 350 MAG MPI Mercruiser Bravo III with 300 horsepower and Seacore for an extra $5,764.

The best thing about the Bayliner 245 Cruiser is probably the price. The standard model with the five liter 245 Mercury MPI Mercruiser III costs only $60,497. That’s a lot of boat for a very low price. The bayliner 245 is an excellent choice for Florida boat owners.
