38 Foot Commercial Steel Tug, with hard chine, and displacement type hull. Built in 1966 by Thomaston Steel Works, Thomaston, Maine. Currently used for passenger cruises, it is outfitted with benches which can be removed for towing.
Powered by a single Caterpillar D-333 diesel engine, new 3:1 transmission installed in 2010, 2" stainless steel shaft with stainless steel spurs, 4 blade 36 X 28 bronze propellor.
Hydroslave Hydraulic steering with 1 main rudder and 2 custom built flanking rudders, all 3 rudders have steel blades on stainless steel shafts.
Hull is constructed of 1/4" Plate steel, with welded steel transverse frames, engine beds, and internal bilge stringers. A watertight welded steel crash bulkhead is fitted forward.
Interior mahogany trim detail added in 2002.
